a few quick notes...

A newsletter will go out shortly with this information and some peaks at the december and january kits :)

A few notes regarding Scrap This Kit
  • December kits will reveal on the 1st. This is to ensure you will get them as soon as possible to help with any cardmaking or pre-christmas scrapbooking you'd like to do. Or let's face it for those of us (me) who are trying to catch up last year's holiday photos before this holiday is over.
  • There will be a december daily album available within the next week. It will be a 6x12 album and use the December kit line. This will allow you to coordinate your items with your kit or pull from your kit if you are verbose in your daily album. Items for this kit will be pre-cut and require only assembly.
  • Not only will the December kit be revealing on the 1st there will also be some handmade card sets available and advent calendars (also pre-made)

~ Layouts using November kit ~

Thank you so much Tami and Scrap this Kit for letting me doing some fun creating with the November Kits! There were so many goodies to play with and I dug right in as soon as it came in the mail!!

Since Tami is not able to put the kit photos up until tomorrow I will try and list as many things as I can on each Layout..and hopefully that entices you to grab these kits!!!!

First up ~ he is amazing....this layout of my dear hubby with the palm trees in the background..so perfect for the webster's papers! The LO has a mix of the Graphic 45 and Webster's as base and layers. I cut out a lot of fun things from the papers to embellish around the photo - this is one of my most favorite techniques! I added a burgundy piece of mulberry from the ephemera sheet, webster's pages days of the week journal set(xoxo), 2 Prima flower's from a floral set, wood flourish from Kaiserscrapbook. the heart is a Prima stamp that I stamped black and cut out, then added my own heart I cut out from the G45 paper.

Bella Boo - my Cousin's little girl and she is quite the Dancer!! This LO has a few layers, different patterns I cut from the papers. the black lacy patterned strip across the bottom is actually made with a stamp. I stamped it twice to connect and make it appear like trim, added the MM findings pearls and roses, misc ephemera cutouts and the letters from Webster's. I did use a light layer of the Kaiser craft paint in beige around the outside edge.

Domestic Goddess..yes I am!! Fun fun cutouts from all the paper and the ephmera, added a days of the week from Websters journal spot, MM findings clock, Big Prima flower that I layered with paper cutouts, the fabric shape from Prima that I dressed in some of the pattern paper. The base shaped paper is Jenni Bowlin layered on top of the G45 paper. the title I cutout of the paper and mounted it on prima packaging.

My final Layout Got Friends uses all the fun Jenni Bowlin Studio milk buttons, I cut up another sheet of Jenni Bowlin shaped paper and highlighted the numbers with Kaiserscrapbook Pearls, added a Cow cutout and pieces of the Webster's days of the week. The star I cut from paper and put a touch of paint on it using the Kaiserscrapbook paint in brown.

I have 1 more project to put up...so stay tuned!!! xoxo ~ Gina
